About Matt


Matt Parkinson grew up in Plymouth on the south west coast of England. He attended Elburton Primary School and St Boniface’s College then studied Chemistry at Imperial College London. After graduation he moved to Mainz, Germany to continue his studies at the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research. In 2006 Matt moved to Linz, Austria and worked as a senior scientist in infrared (IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy of polymers. In 2016 Matt moved to Brussels in Belgium to work as a spectroscopy laboratory supervisor.
