Introduction

Spectroscopist with broad experience in solution-state, solid-state NMR spectroscopy as well as quantitative IR spectroscopy of polymers.

Broad IT skills specialising in automated acquisition, processing and reporting of spectroscopy derived quantities.

Goal to be creative in the field of quantitative NMR spectroscopy and development new analytical methods to extend the understanding of complex systems.

Responsible for NMR operations in Europe covering lab management, technician supervision and method development in R&D. Leader of global NMR network addressing knowledge sharing, training, strategic method development and long-term capital planning. Designed and implemented 2.5 M€ – 750 m2 multi lab/office rebuild project during COVID19 lockdown. Implemented high-throughput automated methods for complex mixture and polyolefin microstructure analysis. Significantly improved safety and quality addressing multiple legacy issues. Experience with high-field solution/melt/solid-state NMR, cryo-platforms, medium-field and low-field TD-NMR. Acted as consultant to R&D on interpretation of results as well as IPR and REACH documentation. Lead external collaborations and give internal training workshops.
